Ever feel like things you once loved you start to put off doing?
Day to day tasks become impossible?
Me too!
Just like our physical health our mental health also needs rest.
It doesn’t matter how many times you put something down and walk away for a little while, come back to what you love.
We can sometimes get overwhelmed & start being unkind to ourselves
- Why did you not get that done today!?
- You’re not good enough!
- You’re struggling with the basics!
When you find yourself in this frame of mind, telling yourself off for all the things you didn’t achieve .. remember it’s OKAY to have a break!
Take the chance to reassure yourself:
I’m having a break right now 🌻
I will get it done when I’m ready♥️
I need this break🌻
This isn’t forever♥️
The longer you shout at and guilt yourself, the longer you’ll be stuck in that negative mindset.
Acknowledge & accept your thoughts & feelings. Then feed them some positivity.
It’s going to be okay, you’ll come back..
Better days are coming..
