I’m reflecting on this year’s theme for International Women's Day .

I see every day how powerful it is when women give. Their care, their wisdom, their presence, their courage to heal and grow. The beautiful truth is.... that when we give with an open heart and an open mind, we all gain

Today I'm especially grateful for the incredible women in my life... clients, colleagues, friends and family who inspire me every day 🙏♥️

While we celebrate, it’s also important to remember that equality is not inevitable. Progress doesn’t happen on its own. The spotlight on women’s voices, wellbeing and opportunities is still needed across the world 🌍

So today and every day, let’s keep supporting one another, lifting each other up and giving in ways that help all of us gain.

Let’s talk Reiki & sleep 💤

Is it OK to fall asleep during a Reiki session? Absolutely. Snore if you need to — trust me, you won’t beat me at it 😄

When clients drift off, I see it as the start of deep relaxation and healing. One session can feel like a few solid hours of sleep and many people report sleeping so much better afterwards — especially if they’ve been dealing with menopause, pain, grief, anxiety, stress, or worry.

Because sleep is so vital for recovery and wellbeing, I’m trialling some early evening appointments this month alongside my regular daytime and weekend slots — perfect if you’d love support with your sleep.

🌼 Reiki Healing 13 March 9.30am to 3.30pm
Individual treatment sessions of around 20 mins in the Community Room at the Riding Centre. Non-invasive energy healing to improve physical, emotional and mental well-being. Also during the day there are 30 min talks by Samantha Whittaker, The Chakra Room, on the benefits of Reiki and how to train in Reiki.
