Yoga can really help keep your body and mind working more effectively as you get older. A yoga therapy class, with an experienced and trained tutor, can tailor the yoga practices to meet your specific needs, especially if you have any underlying health conditions.
We have also started working with light weights in our yoga postures. This can help:
strengthen muscles
improve proprioception (awareness of the position and movement of the body)
improve posture
reduce the risk of falling
improve wellbeing and mental
We hold classes every Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 1.30 - 3pm.
We are based at the St John Ambulance Brigade building, Sion St, Radcliffe, M26 3SN.
The classes are drop-in so come along when you can.
