S E P T E M B E R ✨ back to school month has stayed with me forever and this always feels more like a new year reset than new year itself. So what better time to return back to teaching (after the first attempt was unsuccessful!). Here’s a few events coming up:
- Thursday 25th Sept: 4 week Mum & Baby Yoga course 9.30am Radlett. DM to book.
- Tuesday 7th Oct: Prams and Pints 9.30am The Red Lion, Radlett - a *free* catchup to meet local mums, babies and bumps. Signup on Eventbrite link in bio.

I’m so excited for this next course for postpartum mummy’s (myself and Ana included!) to have a space where we can begin our recovery and rediscover our body. How do you feel about pregnancy affirmations? Do you enjoy them in your practice?

Pregnancy affirmations are short, positive statements to help women feel more positive and confident about their experience.

Here’s a few tips on how to build them in your journey ✨

🪷 Find affirmations that suit you and your journey
🪷 Write pregnancy affirmations on post it notes and place them on your bathroom mirror
🪷 Add some affirmations as the background image on your phone
🪷 Combine affirmations with a daily task, like brushing your teeth

It’s been nearly 3 months since we’ve been back and we are still finding our feet whilst at the same time finally starting to prep for our new babe 🩷 home is definitely where these two ^^ are regardless of what’s in our heart and like all parents, we hope the decision to the move to London is great for them! Tell me more about choices you’ve made ✨

Aparigraha or non-attachment is one of the eight yamas of Patanjalis eight limbs of yoga and really resonated with me during our first international move.

“Let your concern be with the action alone, and never with the fruits of action. Do not let the results of your action be your motive, and do not be attached to inaction”

Why should we practice this in everyday life?

Because so often we get caught up in the final result or the outcome that we hope for that we forget to enjoy the journey. Try not to worry if everyone else is having a good time and instead enjoy the small moments with them✨💜
