This weekend our lovely Mr Tom said his final Goodnight. 🤍
He will be missed very much by so many. It’s been a true honour to manage his care for over 2 years. His care team have been amazing.
His wish was to live out his days in the comfort of his own home and he did just that, living life to the very best of his ability with hourly visits and a live in carer to support him.
Huge thanks to those at Home Instead national office who got in touch last year to share his story. He was so proud to see his photos on the Home Instead Website 💖

Did you know that a Care Home is not the only option? 🤔

With Live In Care, you or your family member can stay at home for longer with consistent 1-1 care from a Care Professional.

In addition, there’s no set meal times, activity rota or designated visiting hours. You can visit whenever you like! & whomever is receiving care keeps their independence and has a choice of what they want for longer 💜

Our Care includes everything from personal care, meal preparation, companionship, domestic care, medication support, encouraging independence with many other day to day & household tasks. 🏡

Care Professionals will support with daily outings, exercise, beauty appointments, DR’s, we’ve even had staff go on holiday with clients or to family weddings/parties! 🎉

The Live in Care Professional would move into the spare room and be there to lend a hand whenever necessary, not to worry they wouldn’t be “stuck to you like glue” but have a presence in the home whenever help/support is required.

We have expert training on hand to be able to train our staff members up to high quality standards, even if that includes specialist skills such as: Catheter & Stoma Care, PEG etc.
