Gill Lane marks 5 years with the team!

Over the past five years, Gill has played a huge role in supporting our clients - helping businesses stay compliant, delivering training, and making a real difference through her work, particularly in Mental Health First Aid. At Lighthouse Safety, we don’t just teach the theory, we make sure delegates can apply it in real life on site.

As part of our CITB Site Safety Plus training, candidates take part in a practical exercise where they plan and deliver a toolbox talk to the rest of the group.

This helps build:

Confidence speaking to teams
Communication skills
Real-world site leadership
The ability to deliver clear safety briefings
Understanding of how to engage a workforce on health & safety

Toolbox talks are a key part of daily site safety, and this exercise helps prepare supervisors and managers for real situations they’ll face on site.

Great work by all delegates involved with some excellent presentations and discussions.

Our Story

Lighthouse Safety was established in June 2004, offering a bespoke Health, Safety and Environmental training and compliance solution to the construction industry plus manufacturing, retail and office environments.

Firmly established and located in Rainham, Kent, where we own a fully modernised building consisting of three fully equipped training classrooms and associated offices.

Our Training department has a diverse health, safety, environmental and mental health course prospectus designed for senior management through to managers, supervisors and operatives, these include our suite of NEBOSH, IOSH, CITB, ProQual, Lantra, Qualsafe and MHFA England courses, backed by our bespoke courses which we create to suit specific client requirements e.g. CDM Awareness and Fire Warden etc.

Our Compliance Services department aims to support our wide range of Clients assisting them to conform in all areas of HS&E and win more contracts.
