Kitchen’s a mess but somehow hoovering the window feels like the priority😅 This is ADHD in action... our brains naturally seek out what feels more stimulating or interesting, even if it’s not what we should be doing. So we end up doing anything except the actual task! 🤷‍♀️

Trying to send a quick voice note but somehow l’ve walked through 3 rooms, forgotten my point twice, asked random questions and nearly fallen over 🤣 ADHD brain at its finest!

ADHD and losing things!! We have an impaired working memory meaning our brain often doesn’t press record while we’re doing things. This is why we always forget where we have put things! Major stressor 🤯

ADHD and justice! Often ADHDers can struggle with justice sensitivity, we can struggle with unfairness and double standards, we feel this heavily and usually find it hard to just stand back, we often need to create balance or we’re left very unsettled.
Let me know your thoughts 💜

ADHD and emotions. Our thermostat in our brains just doesn’t work effectively, meaning that our emotions struggle to regulate which means we feel things much more heavily then people without ADHD. Diaphragmatic breathing is a great technique to help regulate faster💜

ADHD zone out. Who loves a zone out? When everything goes quiet for just a few seconds, the only peace our brains get from the noise.
Don’t you just hate it when someone comes along and ruins it🫢😒
