Lavender Hills hosted a magical Christmas party last week with the help of professional magician Mike Driver 🪄

Mike brought along a whole bag of tricks for his performance, which left the residents in true awe, wondering how he managed it all 😮

Worthington Lake residents enjoyed a festive visit from the children of St. Wilfrid's Church of England Primary Academy, who stopped by to sing carols and join in with a few games 🎶

Visits from young people always brighten residents’ days across our homes, bringing smiles, laughter and a real sense of connection 🥰

Over the weekend, Norley Hall hosted not one, but two epic Christmas parties! 🥳

Residents donned their festive accessories and gathered to enjoy tasty treats, party games, carol singing and plenty of festive fun 🤩

This is your last week to donate to Lavender Hills’ Christmas Toy Drive ‼️

Jeannette, a Team Leader at the Bury-based home, ran the toy drive last year, which saw almost 100 toys donated to Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust 🧸

But this year, Jeannette wants to help even more young people. So if you’re local to the area and looking to support a charity during this festive period, please consider donating a new toy in its original packaging to the home’s toy drive before Friday 19th December 💚

Today marked a special day for Langtree Care Home as we officially opened Boston Active! 🎉

The fitness suite, inspired by the Wigan Warriors great, Sir Billy Boston, will add another unique amenity to those at the Standish Care Village, which also includes Lakeside Care Home and Worthington Lake Care Home 💪🏼

The gym was unveiled by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, and MP for Wigan, Lisa Nandy, alongside Langtree's Celia, a self-proclaimed Boston fan!

Unfortunately, Sir Billy was unable to join us for the ceremony, BUT we're looking forward to welcoming him and his family soon 💚

We’ve spent the past week teasing something exciting coming to Langtree Care Home, and we can finally share the news. Tomorrow’s big unveiling will be… the home’s very own gym! 🎉

The addition of the gym places Langtree among only 5% of care homes with onsite facilities, according to online care finder Lottie, offering residents a safe and convenient way to stay active and support their overall health 💪

Millennium care UK established in 1997

The hard work and dedicated teams of each of Millennium care homes have not gone unrecognised all Millennium staff enjoy going the extra mile to make their homes extra special.

Millennium care have been selected for parliamentary review 2017/18 and have previously won many awards.

Here at Millennium we have a umber of exciting projects going on that we are very excited to share with you a long the way.
