Earlier this week, Lavender Hills welcomed Paul and his pop-up shop 🛍️

When the home’s Activities Coordinator, Maryam, received an email from Paul offering to bring his pop-up shop to the home, she jumped at the chance, knowing the residents would be thrilled!

Residents enjoyed browsing the vast display of clothes on offer, with some leaving with bags of shopping! 👚

It’s wonderful to see our homes offering such unique experiences, and we just know the shopaholics absolutely loved this 🤩

Worthington Lake’s Rambling Club were back at it again last week as they headed for a walk around Rivington, before stopping for a hot drink and some cake 🍰

Activities like this are a wonderful source of joy for residents, encouraging conversation and exercise whilst getting out and about 💚

We can’t wait to see more of these activities across the group as the weather starts to pick up! 🤩

Langtree's first Red Nose Day was certainly one to remember, as Lifestyle & Enrichment Coordinator, Chris volunteered himself to take to the stocks, with residents, staff and visitors throwing water balloons and sponges at him, all in aid of Comic Relief 🎈

A huge well done to Lakeside Care Home’s Manager, Gail, who took on the Run Wigan Festival Half Marathon yesterday 👏

Despite the horrible weather, Gail powered through the 13.1-mile course around Wigan, all in support of local charity, Wigan Youth Zone! 🫶

Residents at Lavender Hills recently enjoyed a visit from Becky at Gang of Elk Forest School. Residents got stuck in, toasting marshmallows and creating bird feeders 🪵

It's experiences like these that support a non-pharmacological approach to care, something each of our homes is passionate about 🌳

Not only do these experiences offer conversation and joy, but they often bring back fond memories for those involved 🥰
