Another week complete at Langtree Care Home! 💚

The third and final home within the Standish Care Village, Langtree, is filling up with life and with that comes a real community feel.

The home specialises in dementia and nursing care, has adopted a household model of care approach and features a Games Room, Gym, Salon and a Music Room 👏

More importantly, it's filled with a skilled and attentive staff team alongside some absolutely fabulous residents 🤩

The morning will kick start Together At The Village, a series of events held at the Standish Care Village with our three homes, Langtree, Lakeside Care Home and Worthington Lake Care Home! 🤩

We're delighted to see Langtree Care Home's artwork featured in The Care Home Environment Magazine's January edition 📰

The artwork throughout our newest home doesn't just look stunning; each piece was carefully chosen to serve a purpose 🖼️

The Fine Art Company and Interior Designer, Joyce Clutton, worked closely together to curate a collection of artwork that provides comfort, wayfinding markers and conversation starters for the residents of the home 🥰

Worthington Lake residents had a very special visit this week when Care Practitioner Laura popped in with her little one, Nate 👶

Seeing the joy these visits bring to our residents never fails to warm our hearts, and it’s these intergenerational moments that we’re looking forward to enjoying every day when The Nest nursery becomes part of life at Standish Care Village 🥰

Lakeside Care Home resident Derek and Carer Joseph headed out for a walk around Worthington Lakes last week while the weather was dry 🚶

We’re so fortunate to have such a beautiful spot right on the doorstep of Standish Care Village, offering peaceful walks and plenty of opportunities for nature watching 😍

With the Village’s private pathway to the lakes, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing stroll in the fresh air.

Just before Christmas, Norley Hall brought a little bit of festive joy and a LOT of chocolate to the Children's Ward at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's Royal Albert Infirmary 🍫

Staff and visitors donated the chocolate to the home in the weeks leading up to Christmas, which was then hand-delivered by Activities Coordinator Lorraine to the staff and children at the hospital 🎁

Well done to the team at Norley Hall! 👏
