Applying the ancient therapeutic techniques of Reflexology to ground you into your body and promote relaxation and health, we will move on to a card reading combined with spiritual mentoring to look into where you are in the energy of your soul, and we complete the session with a clearing and grounding healing session of Reiki.

It’s Mother’s Day here in the UK…women are powerful, beautiful creative and nurturing…not all women become mothers and not everyone has a mother but most women possess a beautiful creative, caring and nurturing nature and we share that healing magical energy with those they love, in the workplace and the wider community, it’s so powerful and healing and necessary to humankind 💖

Cherish the women in your life whether they are a mother to you or not and celebrate your own ability to create and nurture too 🩷

A beautiful day of reiki for humans and horses.

Today we shared reiki up at Margaret Haes Riding Centre on the slopes of Holcombe Hill.

It was a day of healing, charity and awareness with the most lovely people and horses in the best location

Elaine from Acupuncture Ceri from 8 Wellness Wenna from and Sherry from Radcliffe Reiki joined Debra from the riding centre, Kathy and myself to share the love and healing power of reiki.

It was a very happy and lovely day 🌺

Good morning it feels like spring is slowly making herself known ready for equinox on the 20th March 🌸

We have some beautiful spring magic happening at The Chakra Room and would love to see you at one of our beautiful events or for a treatment 🌸

Sunday morning Rumi ❤️

A long time ago I was spiritually and emotionally stripped bare. Everything I believed to be true and good in my life began to fall away, a veil was lifted from my eyes and my life was never going to be the same again. The world became a different place and my life turned on its head.

I was scared, I was in a great deal of pain and I really didn’t know what to do. I got sick, I became a shadow of myself and life felt hard and cruel. I was resisting reality, I had been running away from my life and had suddenly run out of road to run on and was stuck in the thick of a life I didn’t want but didn’t know how to change.

I was on a massive and raw healing journey and it was hell…

I took some time to go to a healing retreat and there was a sound bath, a first for me at the time and before the sound bath this Rumi poem was read out. I was lay in a dark room wrapped in blankets in a well of pain and sorrow praying for some relief and these words spoke to me…I knew from that moment I was going to be ok. Sometimes in life magic happens and this was one of those moments. My soul heard something in these words and it created a shift and healing beyond the words. I began to heal and a light came back on that I needed to show me the way.

I’m not sure what my Rumi is about today except to say you aren’t stuck…your life can change…it should change and you have all the resources within you to survive and to thrive. You are a warrior and a healer and a champion and maybe you need reminding like I did. Like I still do and this beautiful simple poem still reminds me and I’m grateful to my soul for listening and reminding me that I’m ok that I always will be.

I’m absorbing this poem today like I did the first time I heard it. And remembering myself and my own power.

Whatever you do today I hope you find some beauty and some magic…the world feels scary right now but in the name of balance it’s important to bring focus to love and joy and allow that light to shine out of you and across the world

Sunday morning Rumi ❤️

Growth happens when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and grounded, like soil instead of stone.

Soil nurtures life because it’s soft, connected to earth, and able to receive.

This week I have had to remind myself to stay grounded, my clients have all been in need of grounding. This world we live in moves at a pace that is impossible to keep up with and we can be so drawn out of our own energy in the pursuit of just keeping up the pace we loose our grounding, our footings and all balance is lost.

When we aren’t connected and present in our life we cannot receive the good and the new. We cannot grow we burn out and become barren.

Where can you soften, slow down and nurture your ground…your roots?

Today is the 1st of March and Mother Earth is showing us her softness, her receptivity and after her long winters rest she’s showing us her ability for rebirth and bloom as she wakes up the spring flowers from their sleepy blackness.

Be present, be connected, stop pushing Let yourself bloom this week 🌸

As some of you may know…last year I, with some amazing help and support , delivered a long term vision of a full weekend festival dedicated to health, wellbeing and spirituality right here in Ramsbottom.

KOKORO was born from over 25 years in the health and wellness industry and a great passion for all things related also to my dedication to the businesses in the wonderful town of Ramsbottom where The Chakra Room is and to the passion of a lifetime of study, self study and continual personal and professional development in this multi faceted and empowering world of health wellbeing and spirit.

This year we get to do it again and hopefully bigger and better 🎉

We have been fortunate enough to have been given a small funding pot from Bury council, funded via the governments local growth and place grant funding to support town centres and town centres businesses which will help us to access more space for the event and create a bigger buzz with advertising and promotion of the event

How can you help or be involved??

If you are a health, wellbeing, fitness or spiritual practitioner or business we have opportunity for you to showcase your business with an exhibitor stand for the weekend.

If you are a Ramsbottom cafe, restaurant or shop you could support by offering a discount or special menu or offer for the festival attendees who will all have a festival wristband.

You could help us spread the word by advertising this event on your social media platforms or in your newsletters. You could display our posters and flyers in your businesses

You could help us to grow our event taking our sponsorship package which would see your business advertised across all of our branding and social media and in any press releases together with other perks and some free weekend tickets

In May the month of the event I hope the town can turn towards positivity, health, mental health and wellness in our window displays and shops and I’d love to chat with you to see how we can promote and extend this throughout the entire town.
