Confession time… running Festability isn’t just about booking bands and putting up marquees.

It’s:
👉 juggling Facebook AND Instagram (which both want completely different formats 🙄)
👉 finding possible grants
👉 writing grant applications (& praying🤞)
👉 creating site plans
👉 updating our policies
👉 booking the infrastructure
👉 finding Sponsors
👉 fundraising to keep it all affordable
👉 finding trade stalls
👉 finding food stalls
👉 finding volunteers
👉 traffic management

All on a voluntary basis.

We have some bittersweet news to share this week! Our fantastic service user, a fantastic member of our community is leaving us as he takes the big step into supported living.

While we'll all miss seeing his face every day, this is exactly what we work for. It means we've successfully helped him reach a stage where he's ready and able to embrace the next exciting chapter of his life. 🥳

It's been an absolute pleasure to support him, and we couldn't be prouder to see him moving on to the next stage. Wishing you all the very best on your journey, we know you'll do great things!
