Newington Pharmacy. We have been on this site for over 35 years, now under new management of Manor Pharmacy Group and Graham Philips. We are open monday to friday (closing 1.30-2pm for lunch) and 9-12 on Saturdays for prescriptions, health advice, or just that tube of toothpaste you've run out of. We currently offer a wide range of services, like: Medication use review - where you can have a chat with one our pharmacists about your medication and any concerns you might have. New medication service: This is for the new tablets the doctor has started you on, like medication for: diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, respiratory disease. Repeat collection service: If you have problems remembering to put in for your medications or get confused with what you need and when, or just don't want the hassle of putting in your repeat. Then let us help you. We can order your medications for you and arrange to collect the completed prescriptions from the surgery. Electronic prescription service: This means that the doctors can send the completed prescriptions over the internet via the spine, this mean that any prescription that has our name on it can be uploaded to a cloud. All we we would do is pull down any prescriptions that have Newington Pharmacy on them. It is a lot easier and faster service. Free delivery service: If you find out tough to get out to the pharmacy and collect your medication, then let us know and we can deliver your medications to your door. Dossett trays: This is especially helpful to the people to get confused or take a lot of tablets each day, we ask for a 28 day prescription from the surgery and dispense your medication into a dossett. These will be in 4 weekly trays, each with morning, lunchtime, dinnertime and bedtime, these times can be adapted to suit the patients individual needs. Health and well-being advice: Have a question about your child? Or going away on holiday? Come in and chat to our friendly well trained staff and pharmacist about any health question you might have.
