Did you know we can provide a UTI test and treatment for women aged 16-64?
How it works........
You will have a consultation with the pharmacist and following an initial assessment, a dipstick test may be carried out to check a urine sample. For uncomplicated UTI infections, with no contraindications, a course of antibiotics may then be given to treat the infection.
Do you need a prescription from your GP?
No! You can start to treat your infection straight after the consultation.
Three signs that you may be suffering from a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) are:
⁃ pain or a burning sensation when urinating
⁃ cloudy urine
⁃ needing to urinate suddenly or more urgently than before at nighttime
