Thoughts from Spirit
I sat with my spirit people this morning and thought I would share a little of their wisdom with you today.
It is about the feelings we carry.
Some of them can catch you off guard, with a shot of adrenaline on the side. It might be when you overhear a conversation that was never meant to land with you. Or when you walk into someone’s dark mood and suddenly feel heavy yourself.
Ask yourself this:
“Does this belong to me?”
As a sensitive soul, you will feel things so deeply – but not everything is yours to hold.
Not every look, comment, or heavy feeling in the room is a reflection of you.
Not every feeling is yours to carry. Some are just transient, simply passing through. If you let them, these vibrations can pull you down.
Before you carry it around, pause. Check in with yourself and ask:
“Is this actually mine?”
If it isn’t, let it go.
You might say, “But how?”
Give yourself permission not to keep thinking about it. When it pops back up – as it will – gently turn your mind towards a genuine happy memory. This simple shift of focus stops that feeling in its tracks and reminds your system what safety and warmth feel like.
Not every feeling belongs in your pocket.
You are allowed to notice it… and then simply let it go.

It’s another event night, and this time I’m heading to Carndonagh.
I was asked recently, “How does your day go before an event? What does that look like? Do you do a lot of preparation?”
In the morning – usually quite early, before anyone else is up – I sit with my soul.
I check in with the wisdom I hold, and I set my intentions for the day.
Before I ever walk onto a platform, I make space to:
Ground my own energy
Connect with Spirit
Ask to be of service
Hold everyone who will attend in a gentle, loving light
For me, an event doesn’t start when I step into the room.
It starts in the quiet moments, when I sit with my soul, reach for Spirit, and say:
“I am here. I am willing.
Let me be of service today.”

I love it when a client returns with an update on a reading I’ve given.
With the client’s consent, I’m sharing this story – all names have been changed for privacy.
June attended one of my events.
On that night, she was fortunate to receive a connection from her sister, May.
May was only 49 when she was diagnosed with cancer.
They had a turbulent relationship and had not spoken for a number of years.
When May received her diagnosis, she reached out to her sister, June.
Despite every treatment, every effort, and every form of healing, the disease eventually claimed her physical body.
During the demonstration, May shared very private memories and specific details about the conversations that had taken place during her illness – things only June would recognise.
Her message to June was important.
Although her time on earth was shorter than anyone had hoped, she wanted June to know that:
She had no regrets about how she loved, and she was sorry for the time wasted over petty arguments.
She was at peace with the care she gave to others, and with the care she received.
She did not want June to carry guilt or “what ifs” about her passing.
Recently, June came back to tell me how that message changed her life.
She said it helped her release years of heaviness, and allowed her to remember her sister with more love than pain.
For me, this is what mediumship is truly about:
Not just the evidence, not just the “wow” moments…
But the healing that continues long after the event is over.

Some people will misunderstand you no matter how kind, patient, or giving you are. That’s not a reflection of your value; it’s a reflection of their perspective, their wounds, or their limits.
Your worth is not decided by who walks away, who gossips, or who chooses not to see you clearly.

Your worth lives in your heart, your intentions, your courage to keep going, and the love you give to the people who truly appreciate you.

So protect your energy. You are allowed to step back from draining conversations, one-sided relationships, and spaces where you feel you must constantly prove yourself. You are allowed to say no. You are allowed to choose peace.
The right people will not need you to shrink, explain, or perform. They will feel your heart. They will value your presence. They already know how special you are—even on the days you forget it yourself.
