Updated Funeral Arrangements

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Brian Heffron, Tannaghmore / Randalstown, suddenly on Thursday 25th September 2025. Loving husband of Carmel, beloved father to Paul, Danny and Michelle, son of the late Barney and Mary, proud grandfather to Oisin, Grace, Saorla, Eimear and Paídi, brother of Patsy, Theresa (Mallon), Seamus, Raymond, Damian, Brendan and the late Shaun.


Brian's wake shall begin today, Saturday, at 6.30pm. Family time 10.00pm to 10.00am.

His remains will be removed from his late residence 101 Craigstown Road, Randalstown on Monday 29th September at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. MacNissi's Church, Randalstown. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.


Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Sarah Jayne and Sinead, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and all the wider family circle and friends.

A letter of acknowledgement and appreciation from the family of the late Jim McKenna (Randalstown).

We the family of the late Jim McKenna R.I.P, wish to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us in our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to our relatives, friends and neighbours' who called at our
home, helped at the wake, sent Mass cards, posted online tributes, brought food or attended the funeral, especially those who travelled long distances to offer comfort and support.

Special thanks to Canon John Forsythe for his spiritual support, guidance, pastoral care and for celebrating Jim’s Funeral Mass enhanced by the lovely music by Siobhan Flanagan.

Sincere thanks to Marrion’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassionate and respectful handling of all the funeral arrangements at this difficult time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

It is with deep regret that we announce the sad passing of Hugh Andy O’Neill from 36 Brookmount Road, Loup, suddenly on 22nd September 2025. Dearly beloved husband of the late Philomena, much loved father of Donna, Julia (Mulholland), Adrian & the late Mary & Damian who died in infancy, son of the late Mary and Barney, brother of Mary Bridget, Christina, Teresa, Bernadette and Marie

Hugh Andy's wake will commence today (Tuesday) at 6.00pm.

His remains will be removed from his late residence at36 Brookmount Road on Thursday morning at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballinderry, for 11.00am Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in St. MacNissi’s cemetery, Randalstown.

On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Brendan McNally (Bugsy), 39 Churchview, Randalstown, peacefully at Antrim MacMillian Unit surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday 17th September 2025. Beloved son of the late Annie and Gerry McNally, much loved brother of Pat, Stephen, Claire Kelly, Fiona and the late Marian (Cleary), Eamon, Anne and Gerald.

If you would like to pay your respects to Brendan's family the wake shall be held in Marrion's Funeral Home, 12a Main Street, Randalstown tonight 7pm – 8.30pm, Friday between 2pm and 8.30pm and on Saturday 9.00am to 9.30am when his remains will be removed to St MacNissi's Church Randalstown for 10.00am Requiem Mass. It is with deep regret that we announce the sad passing of Rita Gribben (née Brankin), from 114 Magheralane Road, Randalstown (formerly of Sandy Bay, Glenavy) who died peacefully in her 90th year on 17th September 2025 in the care of staff at the Causeway Hospital, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of the late Seamus, much loved mother of Colette, Úna, Brian, Marie, Órla and the late John.
On her soul sweet Jesus have mercy.
Rita will repose in her home on Thursday 18th September from 2pm to 9pm. Removal will be on Friday 19th September to St. Mac Nissi’s Church, Randalstown, (BT41 2AF) where her Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 12.30pm, and may be viewed on https://mcn.live/Cameras/st-macnissis, and afterwards will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her son in-law, daughter in-law, grandchildren, great grandchild, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Mary Gilmore (née McAllister) of 133 Magheralane Road, Randalstown (Formerly Greenlough) on Wednesday 17th September 2025 peacefully in Hospital.

Beloved wife of Liam much loved mother of Carmel (Heffron), Roisin (Kelly), Sandra (Leitch), Laura(Gilmore)and Joan (Wilson), sister of the late Junior, Rosey and Brigid, proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mary’s wake will be tomorrow (Thursday 18th September) at her late residence between 2pm-9pm, when everyone will be welcomed to pay their respects.
