“UPDATED FUNERALS ARRANGEMENTS”

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Francis Benedict (Frank) McGarrity, 3 Fairfield's, Antrim on Friday 6th February 2026 suddenly in Antrim Area Hospital. Beloved husband of Ethel, loving father of Joe and David, father-in-law to Lesley and Hilary, loving brother of Kathleen, Tom and the late Philomena, Sean, Jim and Margaret, doting grandfather to Isabella, Keir and Corey.

Frank's wake shall commence on Monday 9th February at 12.00noon in his late residence 3 Fairfields, Antrim, where his remains will leave on Tuesday 10th February at 12.30pm to St. Comgall's Church, Antrim for 1.00pm Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in St. MacNissi's Cemetery, Randalstown.

Family time requested 9.00pm -11.00am

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters in law, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, wider family circle and friends.

It is with the deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of Francis Benedict (Frank) McGarrity, 3 Fairfield's, Antrim on Friday 6th February 2026 suddenly in Antrim Area Hospital. It is with deep regret that we announce the sad passing of Brian McCann from 198 Staffordstown Road, (Ballylurgan) Toomebridge, on Friday 6th February 2026. Dearly beloved son of the late Arthur and Roseann and brother to the late Patrick, Arthur, Margaret, Lizzie, Alice (Mars), John, Pius,(Fr Marcellus), Neilly, and Marea.

Brian's remains will be removed from Marrion's Funeral Home, 12a Main Street, Randalstown, on Sunday 8th February at 5.30pm to Sacred Heart Church, Cargin for the liturgy of reception at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass will be on Monday at 11.00am, interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

If anyone would like to pay their respects to the McCann's family, the wake shall be in Marrion's Funeral Home on Sunday between 2.30pm and 5.30pm

A letter of Acknowledgment from the family of the Sarah Anne Redmond (née Laverty) from Moneyglass.

The family of the late Sarah Anne Redmond (R.I.P.) wish to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on their recent loss of a much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

We would like to sincerely thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their kindness, prayers, messages of condolence, Mass cards and flowers. We are especially grateful to all those who attended the wake and funeral and shared memories and helped us to both celebrate and grieve our great loss.

We are deeply grateful to all those who cared for mum throughout her illness especially the carers, Community Respiratory Team and Doctors and Nurses in Antrim Area Hospital.

We offer our sincere thanks to Boyds for supplying food and to Moneyglass Community Centre for the use of their hall. We would also like to thank the Weir and Duffin families for all their help with the lighting and gritting, the CRDA for providing seating, and all those who brought food to the house and helped in any way during the wake and funeral.

A special word of thanks to Rev Fr James O’Reilly PP for his prayers, guidance, support and for celebrating Requiem Mass. Our sincere thanks to the Gribbin Girls for their beautiful singing, the musicians who played at the house and Mass, all those who took part in the Mass, the Sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers.

Thank you to Marrion’s Funeral Directors for the very caring and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Anne’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 7th February 2026 at 6.00 pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Moneyglass. May our beautiful mum rest in peace.

The family of the late Paddy Close, wish to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us in our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to our relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the wake, sent Mass and sympathy cards, wrote us letters, posted online tributes and attended the funeral.

Special thanks to Canon John Forsythe for his support, spiritual care and for celebrating Paddy's Requiem Mass, enhanced by the beautiful music of The Gribben Girls

To the Doctors, Nurses and Staff in ward 6F in the Royal Victoria Hospital for the dignified care and attention provided to Paddy in his final days. We, as a family, are forever grateful.

We are deeply grateful to our relatives and friends who called at the wake, and for the support of those who helped with the catering, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, wrote letters, posted online tributes and attended the funeral.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sad passing of John McGuigan from 39 Fisherwick Crescent, Ballymena, formerly of "Boylestown" Craigstown Road, Randalstown, on the 15th January 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Margaret, loving father of John(John-Joe), Martin, Francis, Nigel and Desmond (Dessie), father-in-law to Cheryl, Fionnuala, Christine and Tracy, loving brother of Lizzie and the late Joe, Pat, Tommy, Brian, Eddie and Peter-Oliver, doting grandfather and great-grandfather.

John’s wake will commence in his late residence on Saturday 17th January at 12.00noon, where his remains will leave on Monday 19th January at 9.15am to All Saints' Church, Ballymena for 10.00am Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Crebilly.

It is with deep regret that we announce the sad passing of Patrick (Patsy/Paddy) O'Neill peacefully in hospital on 14th January 2026, from 21 Cargin Road, Toomebridge. Beloved husband of Betty, loving father of Sharon, Mary Jo (Pearson), Margaret Rose (Robinson), Nuala (Hutchinson), Joseph and the late Hugh. Father-in-law to Terence, Chris, Liam, Peter and Teresa, son of the late Joseph and Anne Marie, loving brother to Mary Anne Kelly, Christine Hughes, Danny, Martha Gilmore, Margaret McKernan and Teresa who died in infancy, loving grandfather of Laura, Michelle, Hugh, Lisa, Emma, Bronagh, Katelyn, Liam, Sara, Francis and Kacey.

Paddy’s wake will commence in his residence on Thursday 15th January at 7.00pm, where his remains will leave on Saturday 17th January at 1.00pm to Sacred Heart Church, Cargin for 1.30pm Requiem Mass. Interment immediately afterwards in Adjoining cemetery.

Due to parking restrictions at the home a bus shuttle service will be running from The Sacred Heart Church's carpark to the house.

It is with deep regret that we announce the sad passing of Patrick (Patsy/Paddy) O'Neill peacefully in hospital, from 21 Cargin Road, Toomebridge.
