Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all! 🎊

2026 is a number 1 year, meaning it is the start of a new 9 year cycle. So it's a great time to set new intentions and create new habits.

However, although we have moved into a new calendar year, we are still very much in the depth of winter and in the process of rest and recovery ❄️❄️❄️

In addition to that, we are in the final closing out stage of the Chinese Year of the Snake (the Chinese New Year begins on 17th February) which has been all about shedding old skins 🐍🐍🐍

As I am still very much in my own process of wintering and shedding, I have decided not to run any events this month.

However, I would like to assist you in consciously shedding old skins, entering into deep relaxation and beginning new self care habits.

Tonight, the Eve of the Winter Solstice, is traditionally known as ‘Mother’s Night’ in Germanic and Anglo-Saxon cultures.

At this time, we honour the ancestral mothers, female deities and the Divine Feminine.

This night marks the official beginning of Yule season, a night for feasting, reflection and rituals dedicated to the Mother Goddess.

Such a beautiful afternoon of art, crafts, creativity and festive feels 🎄✨

Our second creative circle was as enjoyable as the first.

Women shared their art and poetry, enjoyed mulled wine, Christmas tea and mince pies.

We sat around the table and made Christmas wands, tree decorations and even attempted a little embroidery.

Creativity and community are medicine for the soul 🧡🌀✨

A reminder of our event next Sunday. A great opportunity for creative people to find a community, share their work, participate in Christmas crafts and enjoy some festive cheer 🎄🍷🌀✨

Come and join us on Sunday 7th December 3-5pm in Earth and Water Wellness Centre (www.earthandwaterwellness.uk), just outside Rathfriland, for Christmas crafts, mulled wine, mince pies and festive cheer.

🎨 Our creative circles are a great opportunity to share your creative talents - be it painting, music, photography, storytelling, jewellery making or any other gift.

There is no pressure to have anything prepared but, if you do have a talent or a project to share, bring it along. Otherwise, simply participate in the crafts on offer.

🎁 Pick up a festive gift for a loved one while you are here. Choose from copper jewellery, scented candles, Tropic skincare and more.

📚 There will also be artwork and second hand books for sale.

Are you feeling the energy shift in the air?

I know I am. It feels like a limbo state.

When I sense this energy I am always called to do a ritual - runes, cards, cord cutting, breath work, plant medicine whatever feels right.

Today the runes say the test is over, the hard times are complete. It’s time for change, receiving blessings, material or emotional and increased overall wellbeing. It’s also time for some kind of reunion, reconciliation, relocation and progress.
