The latest respiratory report shows influenza activity has again increased across all surveillance indicators.

Flu is spreading, you can help stop the spread by:
• Washing your hands regularly
• Catching coughs and sneezes in a tissue
• Minimising contact with others
• Getting vaccinated if you are eligible

Due to high levels of flu and other respiratory illnesses circulating in our community, staff, patients and visitors to our Emergency Departments are being asked to wear face masks.

If you are attending ED and need to be accompanied, please bring only one relative or friend to reduce overcrowding in our waiting areas.
