The screening bus will be at Morrisons, Nelson tomorrow 11am–4pm. No appointment needed — just drop in.

After tomorrow, appointments will need to be booked through your GP surgery.

Dear Patients,

All Practices in East Lancashire will be closed on Wednesday 4th March 2026 from 1pm-6.30pm for Protected Learning Time.

This enables Practices to provide dedicated training to their staff and to discuss and plan ways that will allow them to improve services, meet demand and support the wellbeing of their staff.
For all life threatening medical emergencies please call 999 as you normally would.

If you feel your request is urgent and cannot wait until the following day arrangements have been made for clinical cover which can be accessed by calling 111 where a trained member of staff will triage your request.

The practice will reopen as normal at 8am on Thursday 5th March 2026.

If your cervical smear test is due but you hate making appointments, there are some drop-in dates here. The next one is this Wednesday, when the Living Well Bus will be outside Morrisons in Nelson from 11am-4am. You don't have to be a Pendle resident to come along
