📢 Important Update: New Appointment System from 1st July

From 1st July 2025, Fairmore Medical Practice is moving to a new appointment system called Accurx Total Triage.

This means that all appointment requests will first go through an online or phone triage system. You can send your request through our website or call us, and a doctor or clinician will review it and decide the best next step. This might be a same-day phone call, a face-to-face appointment, or helpful advice via message.

If your problem is routine and not urgent, your appointment may be booked for a future date — this could be in a few weeks’ time. Urgent problems will continue to be prioritised.

This change will help us make sure every patient gets the right care, at the right time, with the right clinician.

📢 اہم اطلاع: یکم جولائی سے نیا اپوائنٹمنٹ سسٹم

جولائی 2025 سے، فیئرمور میڈیکل پریکٹس ایک نئے اپوائنٹمنٹ سسٹم پر منتقل ہو رہا ہے جسے Accurx Total Triage کہا جاتا ہے۔

اس کا مطلب ہے کہ تمام اپوائنٹمنٹ کی درخواستیں سب سے پہلے آن لائن یا فون کے ذریعے جائزہ لینے کے عمل سے گزریں گی۔ آپ ہماری ویب سائٹ کے ذریعے درخواست بھیج سکتے ہیں یا ہمیں کال کریں، اور ایک ڈاکٹر یا کلینیشین اس کا جائزہ لے کر اگلا مناسب قدم تجویز کریں گے۔ یہ ایک ہی دن کی کال، کلینک میں اپوائنٹمنٹ، یا میسج کے ذریعے مشورہ ہو سکتا ہے۔

اگر آپ کا مسئلہ روٹین ہے اور فوری نوعیت کا نہیں، تو اپوائنٹمنٹ کچھ ہفتوں بعد دی جا سکتی ہے۔ فوری مسائل کو اب بھی ترجیح دی جائے گی۔

PATIENT NOTICE - CLOSED THURSDAY 15TH MAY IN THE AFTERNOON

Dear Patients,

All GP Practices in East Lancashire will be closed on Thursday 15th May from 1pm-6.30pm for Protected Learning Time. This enables practices to provide dedicated training to their staff and to discuss and plan ways that will allow them to improve services, meet demand and support the wellbeing of staff.

For all life-threatening medical emergencies please call 999. If you feel your request is urgent and cannot wait until the following day provisions have been made for urgent triage, please call 111.

For all routine requests for results, appointments, prescriptions, and general queries we will be open as usual on Friday 16th May.
