At Rossendale Hospice, our dedicated Hospice at Home team offers specialist care and support for people who wish to stay in the comfort of their own home.

Referrals can be made by:
✔️ You
✔️ A family member or friend
✔️ A GP, district nurse, or other healthcare professional

We work closely with you and your healthcare team to ensure care is personalised to your needs, helping you remain as comfortable and independent as possible.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome Hector and Chris to Rossendale Hospice to receive a very generous cheque of £1,500 which has been very kindly donated by the Bury Con Clave Freemasons.

Freemasonry has been active for over 300 years, and it is the second largest contributor to charities in this country, donating almost £1 million to charities each week. The unique members organisation provides structure for it’s member enabling them to make new friendships, develop themselves and contribute to charities.

We are extremely grateful to be one of their chosen charities and this money will be used to support patients and families living with life-limiting illnesses.

We are Hiring!🌟

Rossendale Hospice have an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our amazing team.

🕐 22.5 hours per week (12-month fixed term contract)
📅 Closing date- Sunday 18th January

As our Admin Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Finance Manager, providing financial and administrative support across the organisation. The role contributes to the effective management of Hospice income and day-to-day operations, ensuring tasks are carried out accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner. The position also supports charity shops, office services, and wider administrative functions, acting as a key point of contact for staff, volunteers, suppliers, and the public.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to the Rossendale Networking Ninjas for raising an amazing £670 for Rossendale Hospice throughout 2025 🙌💙

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending their networking meeting, where we were presented with a very generous cheque. This fantastic amount has been raised through their monthly meet-ups, and we are truly grateful for the continued kindness and commitment shown by the group.

At Rossendale Hospice, we’re here to support you every step of the way. We offer a range of compassionate services for people living with cancer, from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment, and into recovery.

Our welcoming group sessions provide peer support, understanding, and practical coping strategies, helping you navigate the challenges you may face in a safe and supportive environment.

Our cancer support groups include:

Wednesdays, 10:00 – 12:30
