Yoga isn't about listening to poses being called out like a workout drill and it's not about chasing shapes. Yoga is a wonderful practice for body and mind and actually offers a toolkit for your physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing - on and off the mat. Yoga is a science and a philosophy and not what most people think.
So if you think yoga is not for you, why not try another class and really find out what yoga has to offer. Check out different styles and practices and take time to find a teacher who resonates with you and supports your journey. And importantly, don't be shy...ask your teacher about their experience, qualifications and approach to yoga teaching (as this varies greatly!).
