Steam isn’t necessary to prep your skin, and honestly it’s not always the best way to either…👀

I choose warm mitts in my facials because they gently soften the skin without overwhelming it.

Warm mitts help to:
🫧 loosen congestion (blackheads and gunk)

🫧 prep the skin for extractions

🫧 help gently exfoliate, helping boost how well your skin absorbs the facial products 🥰

🫧 keep the skin calm and hydrated

Steam can sometimes be too much, especially for reactive / inflamed skin, e.g. acne, rosacea, breakouts, eczema or psoriasis-prone skin.

Warm mitts = controlled warmth, consistent comfort, better facial results ❤️‍🔥

The right approach is what you need✨

Micellar water has its place, but it’s how you’re using it which might be wrong, meaning it’s not as gentle on your skin as you think. ❤️‍🩹

It does remove dirt, oil and makeup, but the molecules in the Micellar water are left sitting on the skin.

If you’re going in with a full cleanse after using Micellar water, you’ll begin to ruin your skin health and skin barrier over time.

Especially if you’re acne-prone or already sensitive, this will make things 10 times worse!
