Oooh I love a little dance in the kitchen while making breakfast 🤣 I have been a little unwell this week and under pressure, so today while Lexi was having a junior boxing class at the gym, instead of gonna for a run I let my body relax. I went im the hot tub and sauna and I feel great. As soon as I feel 100% again I will gradually get my training back up.

So true!! And are often the days where you have the best exercise.

Thank you Karoline and Carly for a great run tonight. We were all not sure before we went out, tired from the day, cold. I can tell you we all felt great after. The best thing was being there for each other, having a natter and enjoying being out and about. We are heading back out Thursday if anyone fancies it.

And relax!! Full day at work today, and am staying away for 2 nights. So took myself off for a 5km run then joined some ladies and my boss in a car park to do some strength training. It was tough as I didn’t know the area it was dark, I lost my debit card and I my light ran out of charge…..but I did it!! Just got back to the hotel for a nice glass of wine 😃 this was my motivation to get round.

1st day back and work today, and the first thing that comes in to my head is when do I fit in my exercise?!? Time is always something that stands in our way. So from today I am making it part of my day, I will prioritise exercise. Obstacles in my way and how I overcome them.

1) too busy with work, add this to my daily planner. Then work around my exercise. Today for example I have a busy day so I am going Zumba at 6 after work.

2) when Andy is away I have no child care in the evenings. I either will do it at lunch or take Lexi with me, she can go on her bike while I run for example.

3) plan ahead, what have you got on this week and what times can I do my exercise?

Prioritise your health and the rest of your list will become easier!

3 things I think about that help motivate me
1) having a reason, why do you want to exercise?
2) having goals, could be daily, weekly monthly. Could be time, distance, or amount. Your goal is your goal!
3) enjoy it, do exercise you enjoy. Exercise could be anything that is moving your body and working your brain. Don’t make it a chore.

Morning ladies! Sorry for the silence, it has been busy with work and home life. After my triathlon I have been getting back in to my running. I really wanted to do some meet ups with anyone keen, whether that be walks or runs. I just had a thought, I do not have to do the gymnastics drop off this week so can make the hockley woods parkrun. Is anyone keen? We could meet up after for a hot drink? Anyone can run, jog, walk it’s just about getting out there with nice surroundings and what a great way to start the weekend. Please message me if you are keen and We can meet up and have some fun. Really excited to do a parkrun again!!
