For nearly 10 years as a Move It or Lose It instructor — and 15 years as a remedial massage therapist — I’ve been helping people who’d normally avoid exercise to get moving again 💛
My classes aren’t about keeping up or pushing hard — they’re about moving in ways that feel good for you. They’re designed for everyday people with everyday bodies — especially those who are new to exercise, returning after a break, or managing a health condition.
That’s why I’m proud to support Active Essex’s Find Your Active campaign — helping our local community discover fun, accessible ways to get moving and boost health and wellbeing.

Something new is coming…
AN EVENING CLASS
⭐️Strength & Stretch ⭐️
Starts Thursday 6th November
Strength & Stretch is all about helping your body do what it’s designed to do — move with ease, strength, and balance in everyday life.
As we get older, those little aches, pains, and stiffness can start to sneak in. This class gives your body the love and attention it needs to bring that ease back.
It’s not about getting hot, sweaty, or super toned. In fact — you don’t need to be fit, flexible, or have the “right” outfit! Just come as you are, in trainers & clothes you can move easily in.
Enjoy gentle, nourishing movement that helps you feel more comfortable in your body and lifts your mood along the way.
🏐 We’ll use resistance bands and balls, with a mix of mat-based floor work and standing moves.
🪑 Chairs are available too — to support you, or to even help you up and down from the floor if needed.
🤗 No judgement, everyone can work at their own pace.
Think of it as a midweek reset — a calm evening to stretch, strengthen, breathe, and reconnect with your mojo. 💛
And after class, you’re welcome to stay for a drink and a chat — because connection and community are just as important for your wellbeing as movement itself.

🧘♀️ Class planning day!
Today I’ve got all my bits of equipment out and my notebook open, planning next week’s classes.
I make time for this each week (and sometimes a longer session) to do a bit of research and learn new skills or routines. While I’m planning, I’m always thinking about you lot — your aches, niggles, tight spots and health conditions — so we can keep working on the things that really matter to you.
I also think about the most common issues I see in my massage clients — things like stiff shoulders, sore lower backs or tight hips — and build in exercises to help avoid or improve those problems too.
It’s a good reminder that when you pay for your class, you’re not just paying for that hour of movement — you’re also paying for all the time, care and thought that goes into making it safe, helpful and (hopefully!) a little bit fun too 💛

Therapeutic massage techniques- relaxation, sports, deep tissue and hot stones.
Relaxation through energy work such as Reiki, guided meditation, chakra balancing with the use of natures own beautiful crystals.
Movement of the body, keeping your body mobile enough to enjoy joy life and age well along with having fun, laughter and a social network to give love and support.
Menopause workshops and MenoClasses to provide a safe space for women to come together and talk about their experiences receive helpful tips and advice along with uplifting gentle exercise and movement and relaxation/meditation.
I am able to offer all of the above as an experienced massage and holistic therapist and Reiki practitioner. MenoHealth Menoleader and a qualified gym instructor and FABS fitness instructor - offering "Move it or Lose it!" to help you feel fit for life by strengthening muscles, stabilising joints and improving flexibility in a fun and sociable class.
I also network with many other health and wellness professionals within the community and will signpost you to the right person if i feel my services are not appropriate or you need additional support.
