🍼 Lifesaving Skills in Action 💙
At Kinect Services, our training goes beyond requirements, it's about empowering real action in real emergencies.
Here’s Cheryl, our incredible internal trainer, demonstrating infant CPR—a vital skill for our ANYONE!
Recently, one of our Passenger Assistants, shared how this training helped them save their 4-month-old granddaughter's life. When the baby suddenly stopped breathing, they calmly performed CPR, just as they’d learned from Cheryl, until paramedics arrived. Doctors said their swift actions saved the baby’s life. 💓
We're incredibly proud of Cheryl and thankful that our Passenger Assistant was prepared when it mattered most!
✅ Key Things to Remember When Performing CPR on an Infant (Under 1 Year Old):
• Check for responsiveness
• Call for help- 999 or 111 or 112
• Open the airway
• Check for breathing
• Give 5 gentle rescue breaths
• Start chest compressions- 2 fingers
• Continue CPR (30 compressions : 2 rescue breaths)
• Don’t shake the baby or wait for help without starting CPR—immediate action is vital.
Remember—any action is better than nothing!
You never know when your training could become the difference between life and death.
