There was sun and thunder and lightning but we just carried it on singing and dancing in the ☔️ rain

Today is National Emergency Services day fire engine 🚒 🚑 🚓 We usually make a lovely breakfast and invite local emergency services to PG but we thought we would deliveroo Afternoon tea to their door for a change 🥪🧁 to show our appreciation for there wonderful services.
First stop was with residents and they were very appreciative, then on to Whitley Wood Fire station and met Tom and Miles who were very happy to see us and super friendly! As you can see in the pics Paula played dressing up as a firefighter and looked the part

This was truly a fabulous afternoon where we celebrated all cultures. Our amazing PG team came together and had so much fun, dancing, singing and there was so much laughter, just look at the stunning outfits, so colourful. It really was a wonderful get together and a feel good end to the week, Residents absolutely loved the impromptu shows and catwalk fun.

A trip to Henry street garden centre is always a tonic for our residents 🌸 The flowers are beautiful and there’s lots of fabulous gifts so shopping is a must! Don’t get me started on the coffee and homemade cakes… 🧁 ☕️ Well worth a visit and we are looking forward to the Christmas displays which are stunning 🎄
