☘️ ‘Yoga for Self and Society’ - International Yoga Day 2024 theme!

As a Yoga teacher in NHS (National healthcare service) in UK and a mother of Special child, I feel a deeper connection with this year’s yoga theme- ‘Yoga for Self and Society’.
On a personal level, yoga enhances physical health through improved flexibility, strength, and balance. It supports cardiovascular health, boosts immunity, and promotes better posture and body alignment. Mentally, yoga is a powerful tool for stress reduction and mental clarity. It brings more self-awareness, mindfulness, and inner peace.
For society, yoga encourages a culture of health and wellness. Most importantly, Yoga’s principles cultivates kindness and compassion, so we can create a more peaceful and harmonious world, both on and off the yoga mat.
Telling you from my personal experience Yoga is really a transformative practice, please give it a try. I promise you will never regret it.

Establishing a routine helps in making yoga a habit.

🤍 A strong and supple spine ensures not only the efficiency of the nervous system but also the health and longevity of it.

✨The spine is fundamental to our connection with our physical bodies and the energetic channels that unite and align us. The way we move must be a conscious effort so we can come closer to understanding our individual selves physically, emotionally, and mentally. Within any pose us Yogis practice, the spine is the key to bringing a deeper and more fulfilling connection to any stretch, bind, inversion, meditation, and every benefit it brings to our everyday lives. Yoga is everything, much more than just coming to the mat. Making this mindful realization of who we are is vital to finding the truth and we must be grateful to our practice for providing that for us.

💭 Do you feel stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts!?

🧠 Understand how does the subconscious mind work!!
Your subconscious mind passively accepts your habitual conscious thoughts without question. All of the thoughts you think in your conscious mind filter down into your subconscious mind and leave an impression. The more often you think certain thoughts, the heavier the impression you leave on your subconscious mind and your habitual thoughts train your subconscious mind to create associations and shortcuts between all of the thoughts, feelings, and experiences it has stored. 

The best way to do this is to block your negative thoughts out of your consciousness as soon as they enter. Whenever you are having a negative thought, deliberately think something else.

💡 So refocus & retrain your subconscious mind.
