Busy Mind massages are available for ages 5-16 with parent in attendance. The Holistic Flamingo

I offer a range of Massages for adults and children. My massage's include combined techniques so you can benefit from Hot Stones, Swedish, Indian Head, Myofascial techniques and Aromatherapy all in one session. This can be adapted and you can of course choose just one type! My therapy sessions with children have become popular and I will see your child if they are aged 5-16. A parent must be in attendance for my insurance. A full consultation will be carried out first, to check health conditions, or allergies. The focus during these sessions is relaxation and allowing the mind some quiet time. This is a full body massage including face and head. The emphasis is on gentle, light touch techniques to induce mindfulness. I spend time before each session explaining how everything is going to happen. The most important point is that they are free to move, fidget, sneeze, cough, chat or laugh! They are not at school or on parade and they will get the most benefit if their nervous system is calm and not tense. At the end they can pick a crystal to take home with them! Massage is so very beneficial to everyone. Allowing your muscles and nervous system to totally relax can help with many conditions, as well as reducing anxiety. I aim to make my treatment room a calm environment so you can switch off from daily life for 70 minutes. My pricing is now very basic and set at £55 for adults and £25 for children 5-14 and £30 aged 15-16. This is because I want to make it as accessible as possible to all, especially children who seem to now have more worries than ever. Thursday daytime sessions now available for children that are home schooled or have Emotional Based School Avoidance 😌
Sensory needs can be supported, pre visits are welcome and photos of the room can be sent to help with transitions.
