Talia B Soft Tissue Therapy - Massage and Movement Certified Oncology Massage therapist. Own treatment space. I have a background in Diagnostic Imaging and worked in the NHS for 18 years.

Based in Caversham, Reading - I support people in discomfort: move & feel better using Massage & Movement for pain and discomfort, relaxation and recovery from injury and support wellbeing. I support people with feeling and moving better to help them live better to acheive their goals and live a full life through the use of Massage and movement. My aim during a session is to understand the person I am working with as an individual and where they are at this point - whether they need a gentle general session to relax and unwind or a more active movement based or focussed deeper session of treatment. I support people from all walks of life - whether they be sports orientated, experiencing discomfort from minor or chronic musculoskeletal issues or just wanting some time for themselves! I have trained as Soft Tissue Therapist with the Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage and hold a Level 5 BTEC and am also a member of the Sports Therapy Association. I have an interest in Thai Yoga Massage (table based currently) as well as trained in using such tools such as cups / kinesiology tape to provide a different input during sessions when appropriate. For many massage based treatments are great at reducing discomfort in the short term and helping to ease feelings of anxiety and depression. This can provide a window of opportunity to introduce improved movement, rebuild strength and range of movement with the aim of bring longer term change for the person. As a massage therapist I will not claim to 'fix' you but am here on your side to support you with finding your way to feeling more in control of your body and life. I love being outside and being active especially in water - be that swimming or paddleboarding ! I am a mum and am involved in local Scouting and other volunteering. I work on an Ad-Hoc basis with clients at home and their homes, supporting events whilst I am setting up my own clinic - EMAIL or WHATSAPP for appointments and availability. The joys of working from my own treatment space means that I can offer some morning or evening sessions throughout the festive period around the family!

Always love soaking up the energy and insight of people like Daniel of The MVMNT Therapist, Anna Maria of The ST School, Mike James of The Endurance Physio, Paul Coker of Move Physio as well as Matt Phillips of the Sports Therapy Association, Christien Bird of Menopause Movement and Michelle Lyons of Celebrate Muliebrity to name a few !

Back to work from the cabin today, having spent a great bank holiday weekend with the family at CarFest - the UK's biggest charity event, raising funds for children's charities.

The lovely Ami is running a Yoga Immersive session on Sunday 3rd August between 4 - 6:30pm at St Barbara's Church Hall in Emmer Green.

The sesssion is open to all regardless of experience, age and body.

Ami provides a non-judgemental space which is self paced and authentic to look after yourself - providing gentle mindful movement to re-set your nervous system accompanied by stories and reflection and laughs.
