Having battled with my own mental health for most of my twenties, I experienced firsthand the toll that chronic stress and seeking external validation can have on one's well-being. As a former actor, I constantly sought approval from others, hoping to be deemed worthy or talented enough. However, this re

lentless pursuit left me feeling drained, anxious, and lacking in confidence. It was during the pandemic that I took a step back and reflected on my life, realising the need to prioritise my mental health. This decision meant stepping away from the acting industry, which had been a significant part of my identity. Although it was a difficult choice, it was necessary for my self-discovery and healing journey. During this period of reflection, I discovered the power of breathwork as a means to balance and release pent-up emotions. Breathwork became my tool for self-care, providing a safe space for me to express and process heavy emotions. I was immediately hooked and wanted to share this transformative practice with others. With a background in acting and singing, I recognised the importance of taking care of oneself both physically and mentally. Combining my passion for the science behind the body and breath, I became a trauma-informed practitioner, guiding others on their own healing journeys. I now offer workshops that incorporate breathwork, meditation, and community support to empower individuals and help them live the fulfilling lives they deserve. When I'm not guiding others on this transformative path, you can find me finding solace in the sea, indulging in the latest foodie obsession, or singing along to musical theatre. Through my own struggles and experiences, I have discovered my soul purpose of being an anxiety healer and mind-body guide, and I am committed to sharing the gift of breathwork to help others find balance, release, and inner peace.

There's a mastery to regulating your nervous system. The focus shouldn't be on simply turning up and doing the techniques or exercises. It should be learning to apply the techniques when you're in a stressful or overwhelming situation.

If you've learned to listen to your body, you'll know when something has triggered you and how your nervous system reacts. In moments where you are triggered, you want to apply all the tools you've learned when regulating your nervous system. This self-regulations in those triggering moments might look like slowing your breath and breathing from the diaphragm, grounding, and have an awareness of the pace and tone of your voice.

In being able to self-regulate, you need not shy away or hide from difficult moments or situations. By being present in the tough moments and telling your body it's safe. You open up the possibility for real growth, change and depth of awareness.

Sometimes things like anxiety, worry or stress can leave you in your head. Your shoulders feel tense, your neck is stiff, your head hurts, and your thoughts race at a million miles per hour. Trying to think your way out of a problem is not working. That's where I come in. I use somatic (meaning from the body) practices to help bring you out of your mind and into your body. In giving your mind a rest, you're able to understand what your body is trying to tell you. In pausing and listening to what your body has to say, you'll be able to process your emotions, build deep self-awareness, increase self-love, and gain emotional resilience.

Book a healing private treatment to help you reconnect back to yourself. Whether it's to calm the nervous system, release emotions or quiet the mind. A private treatment is a wonderful way to relax and deepen your self-awareness.

You can choose from one of the following modalities.

Reiki

Reiki is a non-invasive, complementary therapy. In a treatment, I will use intuitively guided hand placements to help balance the body's energy. It's an ideal treatment for those looking to calm, heal and relax.

Breathwork Journey

Breathwork is an active meditation that uses rhythmic breathing patterns. The journeys are tailored specifically to you. This may be to calm and regulate the nervous system, intuitively learn to listen to the body, or release emotions. It's a healing treatment that unlocks the unconscious mind. It's an ideal treatment for those looking to deepen their self-awareness.

Meditation

Meditation uses a point of focus (either your breath, a sound or a mantra) to create space between the thoughts. It is a practice of turning inward and understanding who you are from your core. It's a calming practice that helps you quiet the noise in your outer world so you can hear what the inner world is trying to say. It's an ideal treatment for those looking to release and find inner peace.

It is believed that the healing power of Reiki chooses you.
