The Horse year begins on February 17 — arriving with the new moon.

That timing matters.

And it comes right as the Snake year closes.

Snake energy isn’t loud or dramatic.

Synchronicity

Ever had one ( or several hundred 🤣) of those “HOW has that just happened?!” 😲 moments? That’s synchronicity and this week’s Sunday soul guidance card may be speaking directly to you.

In spiritual terms, synchronicity is a meaningful coincidence… an event or pattern that feels too aligned, too symbolic and timely to be random.

It’s when something external mirrors something internal. You ask for clarity and the exact words appear. You think of someone and they message you . You keep seeing the same symbols..numbers ..themes until you finally pause and pay attention. It’s not just coincidence… it’s connection.

The psychologist Carl Jung described synchronicity as a meaningful coincidence without a direct cause-and-effect explanation. Many believe it’s how the Universe, higher self or divine energy communicates with us. However it’s described I genuinely believe the feeling is the same… that inner knowing that something bigger is at play and yes sometimes those spine tingling “HOW?!” 😲 moments 😂

Synchronicities continue to show up for me in client sessions, in conversations, in the exact card that jumps from the deck, in repeating themes across readings. They remind me we are co-creating with something greater. They don’t remove free will but invite awareness.

One of those days…

The kind that starts with school refusal and ends with you questioning whether the universe is actually pranking you.

The morning kicked off with my girls school anxiety at an all time high. Attendance has been a real challenge this week for my neurodivergent (or neuro-spicy, as my brother lovingly calls them 😉) girls. Despite supportive staff and extra provisions in place, it’s heartbreaking trying to balance helping them attend while keeping them regulated and not pushing them past their limits!

Once I got home, I went straight to emails- schools, council, SEND department, and even the specialist school my eldest eventually got into after 2 years of struggle. The school that completely changed his life. And there it was… that familiar feeling of realising im starting the same journey again with my youngest two. Really not an easy road but one I know..

Before I knew it, the day had vanished and it was time to collect them. My mum & me had planned a little shop trip as a “reward” for today’s attendance. The first shop was a bit chaotic. We then headed home briefly to let my eldest son in before heading out again to spend the remaining reward money.

On the drive I witnessed in full ..awful..slow motion detail the very graphic death of a pigeon thanks to a car coming the opposite way 🫣. I know…”it’s just a pigeon” 😅 but I’m the kind of person who would avoid stepping on an ant if I could…

Somehow, we made it to shop number two and this is where things got suspicious. The children were calm. Like calm calm. They chose what they wanted quickly. No arguing. No thinking they are on supermarket sweep basket filling as they choose . No drama. Everyone left happy. I should have known better.

We piled back into the car, rain hammering down, windows steaming up. My mum turned around and said, “Wow kids, that was the least stressful trip we ha….”
BANG 💥
I reversed straight into a bollard. Perfect timing.

So now Percy is gone…the back of the car is damaged, and I’m rushing to drop everyone home before an appointment. Afterwards, I decided to skip trying to be Jamie Oliver & get us a very nutritious McDonald’s (balance right 🙃) .While trying to pay, my eldest daughter at home with her dad decided she urgently needed me and called repeatedly. It seemed every single time I tried to ping payment… her call came through and cancelled it out 😂Eventually.. food secured ..I placed everything carefully on the passenger seat and headed home in the rain.

That’s when I heard the water running. But it wasn’t rain. A drink had tipped over. Pouring everywhere. Cup holder disintegrated. As I leant over to pick it up I managed to knock over two more drinks. Lids both fully off..instantly turning the front seat into a water park 💦 😂

I finally arrived home, grabbed the bag of food, stepped into the garden… and performed the biggest skid of my life in the wet mud. Olympic level I’m sure 👌😂. Somehow I saved the food.

Dinner was being dished out when tears erupted. My youngest son had spilt his entire drink all over his twin sister’s food. Myself and husband gave her some of ours. I’m “eating healthy” anyway…apparently 🙄🤣.

A chaotic day for sure

But now home and dry I’m looking at the stunning portrait my daughter has drawn of me and feeling pretty beautiful 😂.
Short legs (labelled twice with her cheeky haha! ). Short dino arms. Two proud circles by my skirt (apparently my bum).

And right there on my dress ..a couple of little hearts ♥️

After a day of advocating, emailing for England, surviving pigeons, bollards, mudslides, spilled drinks and sibling disasters… my girl looks at me and sees someone worth drawing, labelling, laughing with and loving ♥️

That picture really is regulation in paper form for me. It tells me “we’re okay” and honestly
I don’t think I’m looking too bad👌🦖😂
