Hands on experience of hooding and coping Antal's beak.

Coping a bird's beak involves trimming and filing the overgrown keratin layer (similar to a human fingernail) to restore its natural shape and function, typically required every six months for raptors in captivity. Using a Dremel tool or files, the procedure removes excess length from the tip and sides while protecting the tongue and avoiding the vascular layer.

Antal went a 'Wassaling' at Lousehill Copse.

Wassailing is an ancient British folk tradition, originating from Anglo-Saxon "wes hal" (be whole/good health), that involves singing, drinking spiced ale, and merrymaking to bless people or orchards for good health and a bountiful harvest.
