We've been working hard to raise awareness of the chronic pain crisis. Including a survey that revealed:
- 87% of UK doctors would consider prescribing Medical Cannabis for chronic pain
- 67% of GPs say chronic pain patients take up the majority of their week

Change is happening...

Councillors backed a motion by Cllr David Coggins Cogan to safeguard medical 🌱 patients, including staff and tenants.

The policy allows officials to distinguish between legal and illegal use by requiring proof of prescription and aligns with the Equality Act, letting patients medicate indoors.

The council will also work with partners, including North Wales Police, to raise awareness and provide training.

“This motion helps educate us and our communities about the stigma around a legally prescribed medication,” said Coggins Cogan.

Progress like this shows that support and rights for patients is growing 💚
