The Dermalux LED flex arrived today, and having road tested it, I am pretty impressed so far.

Red light stimulates Collagen & Elastin - great for ageing skin

Blue light is great for Acne & breakouts

& Near Infra red is best for recovery & cell renewal.

Although this machine is targeted at the Facial market, I am not branching out into Advanced skin care. This machine will enhance my existing treatments & I am hoping that I can also use it for Muscular & joint aches & pains, as near Infra red light is amazing for inflammation.

I bought my first Infra red light machine when my husband was very unwell, & we needed to reduce the inflammation in his body. The Dermalux is much more advanced than that, and I cant wait to experience the benefits & share them with you xx

Dermalux LED Facials- coming soon!

I went down a bit of a rabbit hole yesterday, looking for an LED Facial machine for myself, and ended up investing in something much more advanced, which will benefit us all!

I have been a fan of infra red light for a while, purchasing a machine for home use when my husband was very unwell, to help reduce inflammation.

Unfortunately that machine is quite big and clunky, & not suited for clinic use, so I am really excited to have the Dermalux Flex.

Benefits include

* reducing fine lines & wrinkles
* boosting collagen & elastin
* calming redness & inflammation
* reducing acne & breakouts

Once it has arrived & I have road tested it, it will be available as a stand alone treatment and an add on to other treatments.

Back in the day, people would send carrier pigeons or a man on horseback to deliver a letter.

Then we had telegrams, Royal Mail, telephones, radio, TV, computers, & email.

The development of technology was exciting. But somewhere along the lines, things got blurred & what was exciting became overwhelming.

We now need an app for everything, from watching TV, sending messages, doing our banking and even to read a fcking book!

The irony of this message, is that I am posting it on an App!

But in reality, I am yearning for the simple life, a hand written letter, a paper receipt, counting calories in a notebook...

Just a simple life, that doesn't rely on Apps and remotes & battery chargers!

As most of you know, Saturday's are premium slots, and I give up part of my weekend to honour them.

Last minute cancellations and no-shows, are not ideal for any business, at any time, but it punches harder, when it is a Saturday, the sun is shining, and you are waiting for someone who isn't on their way. 😪

Not only does this de-value my time, it is unfair on those that would love to have a Saturday appointments, but it is rare that I have available space.

Thanks for your understanding - I am off to make the most if this unexpected free time with my Gorgeous Rosie, & my husband.

It was so lovely to see this lovely lady again yesterday. It has been a while since her last treatment, and she had been feeling some tension building prior to booking.

Ironically, not long after, she felt less so - but she kept her appointment all the same.

Sometimes just the "Knowing" that someone is going to look after you, is a good enough signal for the brain to switch off & naturally revert to a more relaxed state. 💖

I highly recommend this film if you have Netflix.

In a world where Neuro-diversity is more widely recognised, there are still gaps in the system that leave people struggling.

I cant imagine the trauma John must have faced now, let alone back in the 80's.

Tourette's is still something that isnt widely talked about. Autism & ADHD are both now widely recognised, yet the struggle for diagnosis is a mountain many are still climbing, so for someone with Tourette's, I feel diagnosis and a viable support pathway is still a long way off!
