🎁✨ Spreading Christmas cheer with The Cowshed! ✨🎁

We were delighted to visit The Cowshed, helping wrap presents and seeing firsthand the incredible work they do. This amazing local charity supports disadvantaged children and families, providing practical help, activities, and emotional support to make a real difference in young lives.

Joining us were Wioleta from PhysioCare in Twyford, as well as our Bluebird team: Becky (Operations Manager), Kerry (Registered Manager), Sophie (Recruitment Coordinator), and Becca (Marketing Coordinator). It was wonderful to come together to support such an inspiring cause 💙

🎅✨ Spreading festive cheer in the community ✨🎄

The festive season was made extra special as our Care Expert Bryan suited up as Santa, with Julie by his side as his cheerful elf, visiting our customers to spread Christmas joy.

They delivered beautiful handmade Christmas cards created by the children at Hawkedon Primary School, Lower Earley, along with tasty M&S biscuits generously provided by Bluebird Care.

Seeing the smiles and excitement on our customers’ faces was truly heart-warming — moments like these remind us what the season is all about 💙

🎄 Celebrating Christmas with community at its heart 🎄

We’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to Age Concern Twyford & District Daycentre for hosting such a brilliant Christmas party for our customers and carers.

A wonderful three-course meal, live entertainment, and lots of singing and dancing made the day extra special — and the feedback from those who attended has been amazing.

We’re proud to work alongside organisations that do such important work supporting people locally, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year 💙

At this point in our Christmas project, we are really struggling for gifts for our older children and teenagers. They are so often forgotten at this time of year. Their presents are not the cute toy bundles you see for little ones, but they still deserve to feel seen and valued on Christmas Day.

For many of the young people we support across Berkshire, a thoughtful gift can be the difference between feeling overlooked and knowing that someone cares about them.

If you are able, please consider donating a gift for a child aged 10 to 18. We have an Amazon wish list to make choosing easy, or you can make a donation if that is simpler for you. You can also drop off brand new gifts to our donation centre or directly to our Christmas grotto at Green Park.
