Beattie's next stop was Culzean Primary School, South Ayrshire.

Culzean Primary secured funding to run Beat the Street Carrick for the whole of Carrick in February this year and more than 3,200 players took part – 22% of the population.

Special thanks to Mrs McGarva, Principal Teacher, for all her hard work in delivering the game.

🌳 What if the best prescription didn’t come from a pharmacy, but from nature?

Time spent in green spaces improves heart health, reduces blood pressure, and even lowers all-cause mortality. So why aren’t we prescribing it more often?

⭐ With the launch of the brand new, FREE, Red Whale course on Green Social Prescribing, developed by GPs in collaboration with Natural England, Intelligent Health, NHS England, Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire ICB, and National Academy for Social Prescribing, GPs and healthcare professionals now have the tools to confidently integrate nature into patient care. ⭐

This Social Prescribing Day, it’s time to rethink how we approach health. Because sometimes, the best medicine is a walk in the park. 🍃

🌳 🚶‍♀️ Our team has been putting our mission into action!

We've launched our company wide Beat the Street Challenge, where our employees—no matter where they are in the world from the UK to the Netherlands, Iran and more —are getting outdoors, walking, wheeling, and cycling to earn points. With four teams and a spirit of healthy competition, we’re energising for a vibrant winter season.

As the days get shorter, we know it can be harder to get outside. That’s why we’re embracing this friendly challenge to keep us moving, taking breaks, and boosting our wellbeing.

Have a look at some of the beautiful sights our team has enjoyed along the way!

The House of Lords’ Food, Diet and Obesity Committee has published its report, ‘Recipe for health: a plan to fix our broken food system’. We’re proud that Intelligent Health’s response was referenced three times!

Key points from our response:
❗️Obesity is influenced by social inequalities, environmental factors, and systemic failures.
❗️Access to affordable healthy food is crucial.
❗️Policy changes are needed for disadvantaged communities.
❗️We must shift focus from blaming individuals to addressing root causes.
❗️Ultra-processed foods and inadequate labelling contribute to obesity.
