Sad to hear of the death of Michel Odent;
one of the pioneers of water birth (which I have such a passion for) and a leading voice in the study of birth environment, and it's effects on both mother and baby.
My thoughts are with his family and those grieving his loss.

Hi, my name is Slu and I'm a Doula and Perinatal wellbeing specialist based in Hertfordshire with over 20 years experience working with families.
I'm launching Hertfordshires only ongoing, hands-on weaning support program that combines expert-led education with real food experiences in a supportive group setting.
I am a FEDANT accredited parent educator and have undertaken Chilled Mama specialized training in Starting Solids. I'll be working with an evidence-based approach, referencing NHS/WHO/First Steps Nutrition Trust guidance and offer a
professional setting with provided equipment and hassle-free experience for families.
We launch on 8th October. Midday. £12 per family, no extra charge for multiples.
Sessions will cover meal and snack options, a mixture of whole foods, fruits, vegetables and commercially available products.
Each session there will be food preparation ideas and recipes to take away alongside information from the items covered in the session.
There's a red food week,
Breakfast week, defrost and serve week, strong flavour profiles week.
We'll cover choking vs gagging, open cup drinking vs closed cup drinking and dispel some of the myths around starting solids.
If you have a chair, feel free to message us, or go to Slu directly (especially if you live local to Harpenden where she's based). We can collect if local to WGC/Hatfield.
Thank you!
