🧪 CERVICAL SCREENING UPDATE 🧪
Now that we have a better test for HPV, how often people need to have cervical screening is changing in England from 1st July 2025. Women and people with a cervix aged 25-49 years who test HPV negative - meaning they are at very low risk of cervical cancer over the next 10 years - will be invited every 5 years instead of every 3. Women aged 50 - 64 are invited every 5 years and this will remain the same.
