Winter Soup❄️

Yesterday, the Babees explored a winter soup made up of different texture stages making gloop. When using cornflour it is soft, then we add water and goes runny until played with then goes thick.

They each poured water from the bowls into the cornflour, mixing and splashing until it transformed into a thick consistency. We all practised mark making using our fingers and hands, as well as various tools and colours, allowing everyone to explore in their own unique ways!

LEST WE FORGET ❤️🖤

Today, we marked Remembrance Day by visiting the cenotaph to honour our brave soldiers. The children made beautiful poppies, which we placed alongside others. It was a heartfelt way to spend our morning together, reflecting and learning about this important day. Thank you for allowing us to share this experience! ❤️🖤

🎃pumpkin picking🎃

The babies had such a lovely experience at the pumpkin patch this morning! We had our wellies on and explored the muddy field picking our favourite pumpkins! We used the wheelbarrows for transportation and made our way through the hundreds of pumpkins! We finished our trip off with a lovely photo and some mini pumpkins and chocolate off the staff!

We can’t wait to use the pumpkins this week for many different activities!☺️

🎊Celebrating Diwali🎊

This morning the babees designed and created some Diwali candles using old CDs, glue, stick shiny and other colourful materials. They did an excellent job using their pincer grip to pick and place their designs! We got very sticky using the glue as we used our fantastic creative skills!🕯️

‘Diwali is the Hindu festival of light, symbolising good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and light over darkness’

Yesterday the babies enjoyed exploring sparkle and colour as the rice and glitter reflected in the light. We made pretty patterns using our fingers and the paintbrushes, and we sprinkled the rice to make lovely rain sounds ☔️
