Be Advised. This is not the first time I`ve heard about this sort of thing. The FSA won`t visit you. It`s the EHO that does the Food Hygiene Ratings. If in doubt call the Council Office concerned. Any genuine EHO would not object to you doing so and they would never ask for money, especially cash!

The Food Standards Agency has issued a warning after reports that crooks have been impersonating its officers to scam food businesses out of money using the food hygiene rating scheme (FHRS).
