From September, the NHS will start sending negative cervical screening results directly to your NHS App 📲.

Here’s how it will work:
- If your result is negative, you’ll get a message in your NHS App and a notification.
- If you don’t read the message within 72 hours, you’ll receive a letter in the post as a back-up.
- If your result is abnormal, you’ll still receive a letter by post.

Tip: Make sure your NHS App is downloaded and your notifications are turned on so you can see your results quickly and easily.

Taking antibiotics when you don’t need them puts both you and others at risk. Resistance to antibiotics is a growing concern, and it’s important that we control usage to keep them working for when they’re really needed.

In some cases, you may not need an antibiotic so ensure you trust your Doctor, Nurse or Pharmacist’s advice as to when they’re required. Take antibiotics as directed and never save them for later use or share them with others.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Please respect the health and safety notices around our buildings.

Sadly a patient has been injured as clear warning signs were removed from the site by a member of the public, despite staff clearly blocking off a pathway around our South site to restrict access, whilst awaiting maintenance.

We take your health and safety very seriously, especially as we have elderly and vulnerable patients visiting, and will investigate this matter fully and take appropriate action.

We wish the patient affected a full and speedy recovery.

If you do see any concerns whilst attending our premises please report them to reception or email us at gmicb-sto.p88005-admin@nhs.net.

Thank you, The Reddish Family Practice.

Measles, Mumps and Rubella are highly infectious diseases that can cause serious health problems but they’re preventable.

The MMR vaccine is safe and effective even if you missed it as a child. It’s recommended that everyone have two doses for full protection.

Not sure if you’re up to date? We can help.
