Flu Levels Are Rising!!

With the rise of flu cases across the UK. It is important to protect yourself and others. Please take the following precautions:

What you can do:
• Stay at home if you have a fever or feel unwell
• Maintain good hand hygiene
• Cover coughs and sneezes
• Keep well-hydrated and rest if you become unwell
• Book your flu vaccination if you are eligible and have not yet received it
• Seek medical advice if your symptoms worsen or if you are concerned about someone vulnerable.

The practice will be closed on Wednesday 10th December from 1pm for staff training and maintenance works. We will be open again on Thursday 11th December at 8am. For urgent cases please call NHS111 and in an emergency please call 999 or go to A&E. Community Pharmacies also offer a range of services ifnyou require assistance.

It’s not too late to get your flu vaccine! If you’re eligible and want to boost your immunity for the Christmas season, come into either of our sites during open hours and ask for the Hot seat, and the next available clinician will be able to give you the jab while you wait.
