What is Tear Trough filler and who is suitable?

Tear Trough filler is generally suitable for individuals with mild to moderate under-eye hollowing, good skin quality, and realistic expectations. It's not ideal for those with very thin or crepey skin, severe puffiness, or conditions like malar bags/festoons. A consultation prior to treatment is crucial to assess individual suitability and discuss alternative treatments.

Factors that determine suitability for tear trough filler:

Hollowing or Volume Loss:
Individuals experiencing mild to moderate under-eye hollowing or volume loss are good candidates.

Skin Quality:
Good skin quality with minimal wrinkles, sun damage, and good elasticity is ideal.

Dark Circles:
Tear trough fillers can improve the appearance of dark circles caused by shadows from hollows, but they are not a direct treatment for pigmentation.

Age:
While there's no strict age limit, individuals in their mid-20s to early 30s with good skin elasticity tend to be well-suited.

Realistic Expectations:
