💉 Get Your Free Flu Jab – Stay Healthy This Season! 💉

The best way to protect yourself from flu is to get your free flu jab at your GP surgery. Your GP will send you a link to book your appointment.

Eligibility:

From 1 September 2025: Pregnant women, children aged 2–3 years, children in Reception–Year 11, and children in risk groups.

From October 2025: Adults aged 65+, adults in risk groups, carers, close contacts of immunocompromised people, and frontline social care staff.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

1 in 8 women in the UK will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime — but early detection saves lives. 💗

✅ Check your breasts regularly — look for:

Changes in shape or size

A lump or swelling in the breast or armpit

Changes to the skin (dimpling, rash, redness)

Ni**le discharge or inversion

If you notice anything unusual, don’t wait — contact your GP. Most changes aren’t cancer, but it’s always best to get checked.

👉 Possible symptoms include:

Swollen lymph nodes (neck, armpit, or groin)

Unexplained weight loss

Night sweats or persistent fever

Extreme fatigue

If you or someone you know experiences these symptoms, don’t ignore them — speak to a doctor.
