Missed appointments at General Practice (GP) surgeries can have serious consequences for patients and the healthcare system. They can disrupt healthcare delivery, delay treatments, and put additional strain on resources.

To minimise these impacts, it is crucial for patients to promptly cancel or reschedule their appointments when needed. GP surgeries can help by offering proactive reminders, flexible appointment options, and improved access to care to reduce missed appointments and ensure patients receive necessary health services.
