May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month.
Bladder cancer is one of the more common cancers, yet its symptoms are often overlooked. The most common early sign is blood in the urine (often painless), but other symptoms can include frequent or urgent urination, pain or burning when urinating, and lower abdominal or back discomfort.
Knowing the signs matters. When detected early, bladder cancer is often more treatable, so itโs important to speak to a GP if you notice persistent urinary symptoms.
