Finally, some decent journalism about the true state of maternity services in England, rather than the scaremongering we’ve had in the past week about home births and doulas being responsible for negative birth outcomes. Testing out a healthy flapjack recipe to help nourish my postnatal clients…these contain (deep breath!): oats, flaxseed, bananas, blueberries, coconut, dates, peanut butter and almonds, along with some butter, sugar and the all important pinch of salt.
So much more nutritious than grabbing a shop bought cereal bar, and they even got a thumbs up from the fussiest daughter, so they must be good! ,

Just completed an excellent baby First Aid refresher course with ⛑️ whether you’re a new parent or carer, or a doula or other professional who works with babies and children, I would definitely recommend one of their courses - very thorough and the course leaders are super friendly and approachable 😊

The best day yesterday learning all about with the fountain of knowledge that is Shellie Poulter (aka the White Witch 🤣) and some fabulous other doulas - so lucky to have such supportive women in our local area 💚
