Parenting isn’t about getting it right all the time.

It’s about what happens after the moment you wish you could rewind. The tone you use when you come back together. The way you model repair, responsibility, and reconnection.

Because your child isn’t learning from perfection. They’re learning from you.

When they see you pause, reflect, and make things right, they begin to understand that mistakes aren’t something to fear or hide. They’re something we can move through safely, together.

This is how we build emotional safety. This is how we teach accountability without shame.

And this is how children learn that relationships can bend… without breaking.

Parents, we know that "belonging" can feel like a big, abstract word for a child. In the Ollie and His Super Powers world, we make it simple: Belonging is just finding your "Special Place" where you feel exactly right.

Since your little ones aren't scrolling social media, this post is a mini-script for you! Next time they feel shy at a birthday party or lonely at playgroup, try "activating" these powers with them:

The "Friendly" Power: "Let's turn your Friendly Power up to a level 5! Can we find one person to give a big 'Ollie Smile' to?"

The "Brave" Power: "I can see your Brave Power is growing! Shall we use it to ask if we can join the blocks table?"

The "Kindness" Power: "Who looks like they need a friend today? Let’s use your Kindness Power to share a toy."

Pro-Tip: Ask your child, "Where is your favourite place to be 'just you'?" This helps them identify where they already feel they belong!

Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week reminds us of something vital:
🧠 Mental health isn’t a lesson.
💬 It’s a language learned over time.

Many children don’t say “I’m anxious” or “I feel overwhelmed”.
They show us instead.

Ollie helps children say:
“This bit feels like Ollie today.”

That small shift creates safety, curiosity, and connection.

✨ Awareness begins with understanding.

If you’re a teacher, therapist, coach, parent, or professional who wants to work with families, not against them, Ollie Coach training might be for you.

When children feel like they belong, they open up.
And sometimes, belonging starts with something they can hold.

The Ollie resources were created to help children feel safe enough to talk about what’s happening inside.

📚 The books give feelings a story
🧸 The Ollie doll offers comfort and connection
🃏 The emotion cards help children name what they’re feeling

Together, they create shared language, reduce shame, and help children feel: “This is my place.”

They’re used at home, in schools, therapy rooms, and quiet corners where big feelings need gentle support.

If you’d like to explore which resources might be right for the children you support,

Because belonging isn’t built in one conversation.
It’s built through small, consistent moments of understanding.

A young child was referred to us with behaviour described as “off the scale”.
The proposed solution? Psychiatric assessment. Possible removal from the family home.

On paper, it looked straightforward.

But when you’re trained to see the whole system, a very different picture emerges.

🧩 A child grieving the loss of a parent
🧩 A blended family under pressure
🧩 Unspoken trauma in the adults
🧩 Competing attachment needs
🧩 A child with no words for what hurts

When behaviour is the only thing being measured, the story behind it gets missed.

Through an Ollie-informed approach, we slowed everything down.
We listened.
We observed.
We looked at relationships, not labels.

What we saw wasn’t a “bad child”.
We saw a hurting child trying to survive a situation far bigger than them.

This is what Ollie Coach training teaches you:
✨ How to read behaviour as communication
✨ How to hold complexity without blame
✨ How to support families without pathologising children
✨ How to notice the quiet dynamics others miss

Sometimes, the most powerful intervention isn’t fixing the child.
It’s helping adults see differently.

If you’re a teacher, therapist, coach, parent, or professional who wants to work with families, not against them, Ollie Coach training might be for you.

Because behaviour always makes sense…
when you know how to look.

Behind every one of those statistics is a worried parent trying to hold it together at work.
Employers are finally waking up to a simple truth: You cannot have a productive workforce if they are terrified about their children at home.
This is why major Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) have started partnering with Ollie. They are hiring us to support their staff and their families. They need us to help parents translate their children’s anxiety into Super Powers.
The demand for this support is skyrocketing. Our supply of coaches is not.
We have the contracts. We have the families waiting. We just need the humans to do the work.

Today is World Education Day 🌍📚

Education isn’t just about reading, writing, and maths.
It’s about helping children understand themselves.

Ollie and His Super Powers gives children language for feelings they don’t yet have words for.
It teaches them that anxiety, anger, and overwhelm aren’t flaws…
They’re signals trying to protect them.

When children feel safe inside, learning becomes possible.
When they feel understood, education becomes inclusive.

That’s the kind of education we believe in.

At Ollie and his Super Powers, we believe that the anxiety keeping you awake, the anger that flares up, or the need to control everything aren't defects. They are Super Powers.

They are parts of you that are working incredibly hard to protect you. They just might be working a little too hard right now.

For years, we have been teaching this method to children, parents, and schools. But recently, we have been working quietly behind the scenes to take this message somewhere new. Somewhere big.

𝑩𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒔. 𝑰𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒐𝒐.

We are about to open the doors to a new chapter for Ollie and his Super Powers. If you have ever felt you wanted to be part of the solution, keep an eye on this page next week.

𝑾𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖.
