Doctoral Research: Parenting an adolescent who has misused substances.
I am completing a research project as part of my Prof Doctorate in Counselling Psychology exploring the complexities of parenting an adolescent who has misused substances.
I would like to hear from any UK parents who have had past experience of parenting an adolescent through a period of problematic adolescent substance misuse.
If you would be prepared to share your experience as a parent, completely anonymously, please get in touch.
The study has approval from London Met Ethics committee.
Participation would involve an interview over Zoom, lasting no more than 45 minutes.
