What is a fever? 🌡️
A fever is a temporary rise in body temperature, often a sign that your body is fighting an infection.
Research has found that fever thresholds can vary depending on age. The table above provides a simple guide to what temperature is considered a fever for each age group.
Most fevers are mild and go away on their own, but it’s important to keep hydrated, rest, and monitor your symptoms 💚

What does my blood pressure mean?
Blood pressure is measured in millimetres of mercury (mmHg) and is shown as two numbers:
💪 Systolic (top number): The pressure in your arteries when your heart contracts and pumps blood.
🥱 Diastolic (bottom number): The pressure in your arteries when your heart relaxes between beats.
Here’s how to understand the numbers:
💚 Normal: 90/60 mmHg to 120/80 mmHg
💚 Pre-Hypertension: 120/80 mmHg to 140/90 mmHg
💚 High Blood Pressure – Stage 1: 140/90 mmHg to 160/100 mmHg
💚 High Blood Pressure – Stage 2: 160/100 mmHg to 180/120 mmHg
💚 Hypertensive Crisis: 180/120 mmHg or above
