Eco friendly therapist! 🌟

For those of you that know me, you will know that wherever possible I try to be a little more ‘green’ in my everyday life, opting for environmentally friendly alternatives when possible.

I have pledged the following to the to fulfil their guidelines within my clinic achieving this badge of excellence:

✅ Minimise unnecessary purchasing

✅ Only use paper when really necessary and when I need to, use FSC certified paper that is either recycled or carbon balanced.

✅ Ensured that all the products I use are produced in an environmentally sustainable way and that none of the products are harmful to the environment. 👉🏻 All my reflexology balms are organic, I use organic egyptian cotton towels and flannels and wash these on an eco laundry setting, with eco friendly products.

✅Always consider the carbon footprint of items and products I purchase and use in my practice.

✅ I’ve assessed and minimised waste generated by my practice and made sure any waste generated is recyclable or compostable.

✅ Although I’m not a mobile therapist I will always consider the impact of my travel on the environment. Using public transport where possible.

I also pledge to all my clients that I will continue to improve upon this as and when I discover new ways to be more environmentally friendly.

Children’s Mental Health Week 2026!

If you’re a parent, it’s likely that your child’s school is participating in activities this week that highlights the importance of children’s mental health and what can be done to support them.

💫 Active Listening: Showing genuine interest in their thoughts and feelings makes them feel heard and valued.

New hair doo! 💇🏻‍♀️

Not reflexology related, but a huge shout out to my fabulous hair dresser for making my mop look soooooo fricking good 🙌🏻

The reason for this chop wasn’t just because I fancied a change…

I few months ago I was diagnosed with anaemia and my ferritin levels were worryingly low, so much so that my hair started shedding like crazy.

To improve the overall health and appearance of my locks, I had an honest chat with Gemma about my condition and we agreed on a style that would suit my face shape and bring some life back to the barnet.

Thankfully my GP got to the root cause of my iron deficiency which is a huge relief, and now I can start my healing journey.

How’s it going?!

The first week back after festive break can sometimes feel a little overwhelming.

The early mornings, back to the routine of life and clock watching 😩 When all we really want to be doing is hibernating - well, I do anyway ☺️
