A big thank you to the wonderful team Waitrose & Partners and to their fabulous customers who stopped by to chat with us about Falls Prevention 🧡

Despite the chilly weather, we loved every moment of chatting about falls prevention and staying steady, active, and confident. The positivity from staff and customers kept us going and we even managed to replace 27 ferrules while we were there! ⭐

We talked about staying hydrated and reviewing medications to planning ahead and keeping walking aids in good working order, we covered lots of simple steps that make a big difference.

With colder days settling in, now’s the perfect time to give your walking aids a little MOT.

What a truly magical and heartwarming afternoon at our Forget Me Not Café with Woodhatch Community Centre✨💙

Our session was filled with festive joy as everyone came together to decorate beautiful jars, each one lovingly painted and filled with Christmas chocolates. We added personal, heartfelt messages to go inside with small tokens of kindness that we hope will bring big smiles to those who receive them.

The room was alive with laughter, chatter, and the sound of joyful Christmas carols as we enjoyed a sing-along together. It was a wonderful reminder of the power of community, creativity, and companionship.

This year, we’re delighted that our donations will be supporting Loveworks Food Charity a wonderful food bank charity that makes a real difference in the local community. Knowing that our contributions will help support families in need makes the whole experience feel even more worthwhile ♥️

Our next session will be 8th January 2026 Woodhatch Community Centre, Whitebeam Drive, Reigate, RH2 7LS. We hope to see you there!!

As daylight hours shorten and temperatures drop, it’s natural for our mood and energy levels to dip, sometimes leading to social withdrawal and loneliness.

But even small moments of connection, like sharing a cup of tea and a chat, can make a big difference to our mental and physical wellbeing.

At Right at Home, we offer minimum one-hour visits with regular Carers, so our Clients are never far from a familiar, friendly face. Whether it’s help with daily tasks, a trip to a local group, or support with reviving old hobbies, they’re always on hand to brighten the day.
