🧭 Adventurers in Action! 🍇🔪🌲

This week’s Time 2 Move woodland crew became explorers, problem-solvers, and artisans!

They:
✅ Foraged a sweet reward: collecting wild fruits, discovering the tastiest treats the forest has to offer.
✅ Orienteered their way through the woods, learning how to navigate with maps.
✅ Tackled team challenges that tested their communication, problem-solving, and laughter muscles.
✅ Tried their hand at whittling crafts—turning simple sticks into something special with a little patience and skill.

From teamwork to creativity, every activity helped build confidence, resilience, and a love for the outdoors. They aren’t just learning new skills—they are living the adventure. 🌿✨

This week was all about thinking like explorers, building like survivors, and playing like wildlings! 🦊 🌲 🔥

From working together to create shelters sturdy enough to keep the rain out, to following tracks and clues through the forest like real-life adventurers, the kids discovered just how much the woods can teach us. 🌲🔍

Skills they practised today:
✅ Shelter Building – learning teamwork, problem-solving, and how to stay dry in the wild.
✅ Man Tracking – spotting prints, patterns, and signs left by animals (and each other!)
✅ Wild Games – laughter, movement, and connection in nature.

💚 Nature grows confidence, curiosity, and community. Let’s get your young adventurers out here with us.

👣 A fantastic day of tracking with !

We spent the day deep in the field, learning the fundamentals of mantracking — from identifying subtle signs of human presence to understanding how terrain, light, and time affect what the ground reveals.

Huge thanks to Kyt Lynn Walken for her expertise, passion, and precision — and to everyone who joined us for an immersive, eye-opening day.

This was more than a course. It was a reminder of how much we’ve forgotten… and how much the land still has to teach us.

What a fantastic summer term! Our home education group had a fantastic few weeks filled with new learning, fresh skills, and plenty of outdoor adventures. The kids brought great energy, curiosity, and teamwork—making it a term full of growth and a lot of fun.

We are already looking forward to September and all that is to come!
