Job Advertisement: On-Call Care Assistant – Stennack Homecare

Are you a caring, reliable person looking to make a real difference in your community? Stennack Homecare is seeking dedicated On-Call Care employee to join our friendly team.

Position: On-Call Care Duties and Community hours
Location: Various areas across our service region
Pay Rate: £13.00 – £14.15 per hour
Additional Pay: Paid travel time + 45p per mile mileage allowance

About the Role-
You will need to have experience in ECM systems and be able to work one weekend a month and support with holiday cover when needed . Weekday On call cover is also required shared between 3 other On Call managers .
On Call is paid at a daily rate .

You will also be required to complete community hours-
Providing personal care and companionship
Assisting with meals, medication, and daily living tasks
Responding to on-call needs across your area
Requirements
Must hold a full UK driving licence and have use of your own vehicle
A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
Flexibility to cover on-call duties, including evenings and weekends

We are a small team covering the areas of Redruth, Illogan, Camborne and Pool.

We provide person centred care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. Our aim is to able them to be as independent as possible for as long as possible.

We have a range of shifts available and pride ourselves on being as flexible as we can to suit your own personal availability.
Full time, part time, bank and school hours available. Availability every other weekend is a must.

Pay is £13-14 per hour, plus 45p per mile.

Stennack Homecare aims to support young students into a career into health care .
One of Cornwall College’s students has completed over 300 placements hours with Stennack Homecare and will successfully finish their placement at the end of September with a Tlevel in care and a good understanding of the care industry.
